The Children of St. Martha School
Lethbridge, Alberta | Holy Spirit Catholic Schools
The Children of St. Martha School opened in 1988 on the west side of the City of Lethbridge. Today, we proudly serve just over 200 students in:
- Early Learning (3- and 4-year-old programs)
- Kindergarten
- Grades 1–6
We offer a faith-filled, inclusive Catholic education where every child is known, valued, and supported to belong, grow, and shine.
Rooted in Catholic faith and guided by love, our school is a place of welcome, safety, relational learning, and belonging for all. We strive to nurture the whole child — spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically — while building strong partnerships with families, parish, and community.
Our New School Logo
Our new logo reflects the heart of who we are as a school community. Inspired by sweetgrass — a sacred symbol of healing, connection, and unity — the braided circle represents our commitment to:
- Faith and spirituality
- Relationships and belonging
- Growth and lifelong learning
- Respect for culture and community
The sun rays remind us of God’s light shining through our students and staff each day, guiding us to live our motto:
Belong. Grow. Shine.
